I am a Prosthetic and Makeup Effects Artist, but I started on my creative road back in the

good ol’ 80’s playing classic table top RPG’s and painting Miniatures. This led onto

Live Role Playing (LRP or LARP) where I began making masks and props during which

time I also made safe weaponry for LRP combat, and in turn developed the original design

for the Latex & Foam Weapon, now used extensively throughout the hobby (as well as the

safe combat arrow system).

Since then I have worked extensively in Prosthetic Makeup Effects for Film & Tv, Projects

as diverse as The Lord of the Rings Trilogy to Mad Max Fury Road and many points in between.

I also developed the 1st Prosthetic Silicone material used reliably in the industry which was

originally used for Gimli the Dwarf’s Prosthetics (actor John Rhys Davies) in The Two Towers

and the Return of the King.

For a few years now I have also been teaching Prosthetic Makeup Effects, including Specialist

Mould Making techniques and Teeth Fx making (temporary Fangs, Caps & Veneers), to a wide

range of students and clients from many parts of the world.
